Marushka Farms

We provide raw, well-skirted fleece from coated sheep using a management style emphasizing techniques to maintain clean fleece.   Please contact us for availability and pricing. 

We have begun coating all of our CVM/Romeldales as of 2011.  All of our lambs have been coated from birth and our other sheep had their coats placed either immediately after shearing or within a few weeks of shearing.

You can purchase Icelandic or CVM rovings and Icelandic batts that are ready to spin into gorgeous yarns. Please contact us for availability and pricing.  Pictures provided if requested. 

We have 5 shades of combed top available for sale:  Creamy white, Dark chocolate brown, light, medium and dark gray.  All are lovely to spin and available in quantities from 1 ounce to multiple pounds, depending upon your needs.  Please contact us for pricing and samples.

We have several beautiful yarns from which to choose:

• White Romeldale (70%) blended with Mulberry Silk (15%) and Bamboo (15%)
• Chocolate Brown Romeldale (70%) blended with Tussah Silk (30%)
• Gray CVM (70%) blended with Mulberry Silk (30%)

All of these yarns average 185-190 yds/3.5 oz.  Skeins vary in size from 2.7-3.6 oz.  Please contact us for additional information.

Black CVM (75%)  blended with black Alpaca (25%) yarn in several weights: 2 ply sock weight (495 yds/4oz),2 ply fingering (435 yds/4 oz), 3 ply DK weight (335 yds/4 oz) and 3 ply DK weight (265 yds/4 oz)

Dark Moorit CVM (70%) blended with chestnut Alpaca (30%) in 2 ply fingering (445 yds/4 oz) and 3 ply DK weight (295 yds/4 oz)

Light Moorit CVM (83%) blended with Tussah silk (17%) in 2 ply sport weight (350 ydz/4 oz) nd 3 ply worsted weight (235 yds/4 oz)

Light gray CVM (80%) blended with Bamboo (20%) in 2 ply sport weight (350 yds/4 oz) and 3 ply worsted weight (235 yds/4 oz)

Dark gray CVM (75%) blended with dark gray Alpaca (25%) in 2 ply fingering (445 yds/4 oz) and 3 ply DK weight (295 yds/4 oz)

We add various natural shades of 100% CVM/Romeldale yarn as our local wool mill is able to process our small batches of fleece.  Check with us to see what shades and weights we have available.  We commonly have shades of moorit and gray in various weights.
